Description

Quantum Machinery Group’s MACC SPECIAL 420 DI Band Saw is an Italian made, highly efficient, Semi-Automatic Band Saw with excellent cutting accuracy, having the capability of single step repeatability / up and down positioner. The moveable head of this unit can be shifted up to 60° left and up to 60° right. As far as safety, along with the e-stop, this unit has a safety device on the flywheel casing on the blade and a blade cleaning device with wire brush and strong blade guides that have tight stress-raiser bearings with adjustable widia tips. Featured on this unit is a high capacity band control by the motor with an inverter and special reducer with a bronze gear and a tempered worm screw with appropriately dimensioned flywheels. The band stretching is obtained by means of an electro-mechanical blade tensioner which has a micro-switch for the blade rotation and this machine also has a reduction unit that is in sealed casting. This unit is equipped with a Vertical Vice System, Bar Stop, Bar Support Arm, Double-Vice Support, Stand, and Service Tools.
