Uni-Hydro has been in business since 1949 and founded by Joe Dvorak. Three generations later, Uni Hydro continues manufacturing iron workers and plate shears for fabricators all over the world. Most Iron worker manufactures rate an ironworker by the P.S.I tensile strength steel a machine is capable of at maximum capacity. Ratings range from 40,000 to 65,000 PSI tensile strength. Uni-Hydro iron workers cut 8 tensile strength from 58 to 65,000 of A 36 steel. Uni Hydro iron-workers & plate shears are among the industry's highest quality products. Over 30 years ago, Uni-Hydro invented a mechanical linkage system that changed the ironworker industry. Uni-Hydro now manufactures 12 ironworkers that lead the industry in design and quality.
Uni-Hydro manufactures ironworkers that fit into the following categories: Turrets - A 40 and now 56 ton six shooter. Six punch barrels or six independent punches produces quick turn around. Iron eagle Series - A 30 & 55 ton produced to be stronger than any other similar tonnage machine in the industry. Pro Series - True 4 station ironworkers designed for easy use and accessible for every task. Dual Operator Ironworkers - While one operator punches another can be shearing at the same time. These machines also come with the ability to use a deep 24" throat for those eally thick plates.
Uni Hydro has been in the ironworker & plate shear business for over 50 years and will not dissappoint.
