Mix Heads

Mix heads are designed for non-abrasive and abrasive applications. The MHR tri-tilt mix head provides an improved chemical mixing action for the polyurethane/foam industry. The Tri-tilt Mix Head was designed using computational fluid dynamics technology. The computerized simulation of material flow through the orifies at high pressure and various tilted positions has allowed MHR's Tri-Tilt Mix Head to achieve nearly perfect mix in the mix chamber as the material flows from nose nozzle into the mold. This means the net result for the molding operation is highly improved, consistent, well-mixed laminar flow output with a consistent cellular structure throughout the finished product. The Mix Heads are available in the common sizes 8mm, 8/12, 10/14, 12/18, 16/25.
