Description
The Weldsale WS1713416 BOLT Down Vertical Clamp with a 0-16 inch clamping envelope and a 4½” throat. The Bolt Down Boot securely bolts this clamp to a Weldsale Platen. (please note this clamp will ONLY bolt to Weldsale Platens, not generic Platens) some customers prefer this clamp for the bolt down feature and clamping envelope.
Postive features are that this will securely bolt down and the vertical arm does not tilt back. Negative featues are that it is slower to install and remove on the Platen, and the swivel feature – the ability to clamp to swivel out of the way after unclamping – is negated by this clamp bolting down.
