Received my Baileigh jointer today and I am very happy so far. I like everyone else researched all the brands and models with looking in the 12 to 1800 dollar range. Jet Powermatic,Rikon has 5 years warranty,Laguna 3 years, Baileigh and Oliver 1 year, my thinking is most are lifetime tools and I will run the machine enough to know if it has issues in the first year. The Baileigh and Oliver are know for quality industrial use . I picked the Baileigh. Elite was great shipped with in hours of my order, was at my house in 3-1/2 days.no issues with packaging or shipping .
Run a few feet of black walnut,took about a 3/16 pass and it had no problem at full capacity. So great nice square classy smooth surface. it came with built in casters that I wasn’t expecting, very happy at this point will update in a few months.
