Delta Machinery has been in business since 1919 and exhibits a high expertise in the woodworking business becoming a trusted brand in woodworking today. Those familiar with the early history of Delta Machinery know that it represents the American Dream. Herbert Tautz, the original company founder, started out of a one-car garage in Milwaukee and named the business "The Delta Specialty Company." Most recently Black & Decker purchased Delta Machinery and Porter Cable.
