I've been living with this drum sander for a few months now and as far as performance goes, it performs admirably. I love all the features of the unit and if you are sanding anything the width of the drum or narrower you couldn't ask for better performance at this price point. My issue is with the quality control. The armature that the drum is mounted on is so out of parallel with the conveyor bed that there is basically zero adjustability in terms of being able to lower the conveyor table. Why is this important? If you can't lower the conveyor on the open side enough and you are sanding something wider than the drum than the open side becomes worthless and you will 100% get a nasty line in your work piece whenever you sand something wider than the drum. With this in mind, I should have gotten a Supermax drum sander.
