The Blue Streak line of portable sawmills has been expanded to include a new gasoline engine powered Model 3638G. Yes this mill packs a 38-HP gasoline engine, which is considerable less expensive than its diesel-powered counterpart, yet still ready to tackle logs up to 36 inches in diameter with precision cutting.

And, like the bigger mills, the Model 3638G has hydraulic log controls for loading, turning, clamping, fence arms, and leveling. You will also appreciate the smooth, quick response of the hydraulic raise & lower mechanism on the saw head. Make the next cut fast and accurate.

The Model 3638G Baker Portable Band Sawmill is designed to give you high production with little effort. This completely hydraulic mill offers you the usual low maintenance associated with Baker equipment. Log loading, levelling, clamping, turning and height adjustments can be accomplished simply by operating the hydraulic levers located at the front of the mill. Saw dust is exhausted on the opposite side of the operator, away from incoming logs. The 3638G comes complete with a towing package.
