Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Company Response

Regarding the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)

Due to the ongoing concerns surrounding COVID-19, Elite Metal Tools is taking actions in the interest of the health and well-being of our staff, our customers, and our partners and vendors. During such uncertain times measures must be taken in the interest of health and safety. Primarily, we have asked our team to limit face-to-face interactions and practice caution in essential in-person activities. The following are additional measures being taken:

  • Elite Metal Tools will continue to operate within the normal business hours, and at full capacity until further notice. Sales staff will continue to be available to answer questions, take orders, process orders, and provide shipping information.

  • In order to keep both our partners and customers safe, we are working closely with our vendors and freight carriers to ensure proper measures are being taken with regards to machine handling and shipping.

  • We will be restricting access to our Holland, MI facilities from visitors and customers in an effort to limit non-essential face-to-face interaction. This measure is in effect until further notice. If you are interested in purchasing a new machine, or have questions regarding your current order, please give us a call.

UPDATE: COVID-19 Response

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services has issued a Stay Home, Stay Safe order. Elite Metal Tools, while complying with the guidelines provided by the MDHHS, will continue to operate. All sales staff is available to answer questions, place orders, process orders, and provide shipping information. We will continue to operate at full capacity within our normal business hours. Please be advised that our partnered manufactures and freight carriers may be affected differently, and have other protocols during the COVID-19 outbreak.

  • Under these unique circumstances, be aware that some manufacturers may be operating at limited capacity. There may be order processing delays which are beyond our control. If you are unsure if your order will be effected, please contact our sales staff.

  • Freight carriers which operate from states with varying degrees of restrictive measures may also be operating at a limited capacity or have limited availability. There may be shipping delays which are beyond our control. If you are unsure if your order will be affected, please contact our sales staff.

Our staff will continue to post updates as we learn more about our industry's response to the COVID-19 situation.

Now May Be the Time to Buy

Due to the unfortunate and inevitable reality of manufacturing and freight delays during the COVID-19 outbreak, lead times for particular machines may continue to increase. Upon recovery from the Coronavirus concern, we expect a quick recovery of shipping and manufacturing—however, it will take time for freight carriers and manufacturers to catch up with orders received during the COVID-19 outbreak.

If you are ready to purchase new or used machinery, do not delay your purchase. Lead times and shipping times will only increase after the recovery period.
