Description
The Crosscut Power Saw undeniably brings together efficiency, precision, and safety. This saw features an enclosed cutting area and provides superior cutting safety. Make repeatable, straight cuts for years to come. If you have the capability to run 3 phase power at your location this is the model you want. 3 phase power creates a smoother motor start-up There tends to be less maintenance and longer service life with no relays or capacitors inside the motor.
The model 3725.S is a semi-automatic saw, able to cut 6 ⅜” deep in a single pass and has an 18” crosscut capability. It comes standard with manual clamps. Add pneumatic clamping for customized cutting. Weighing in at 800 pounds, this powerful saw is made for the rigors of everyday use. The Crosscut Power Saw is well suited for pallet shops, lumber yards, schools, big box stores, and many more industries. Semi-Automatic Crosscut Power Saws are easy to operate. First, slide the material into the side of the saw and under the Lexan top. Secondly, clamp it into place using manual or pneumatic clamps. Next, merely push the button to activate the cycle. The carriage moves radically forward and cuts the material. In these models, the carriage stroke is controlled by the adjustable stops on the right side of the machine. Lastly, the carriage returns to its home position under the machine’s cover.
We proudly manufacture woodworking machinery in our Norther Iowa facility. Original Saw Company’s Crosscut Power Saw is made with a powder-coated, heavy steel frame. With a TEFC (totally enclosed fan cooled) motor and internal automatic brake, this crosscut saw has the best cut quality in its class. This Crosscut Power Saw utilizes a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) to control the arbor motor. Using the VFD increases the speed of the blade by over 8 seconds. Because of the VFD, this saw has a slower, smoother start-up.
