Metalpro’s 8” brake accessory fits in any Metalpro Ironworkers central workstation. This accessory comes equipped with a standard 90 degree forming brake die set (10-gauge upper punch and 3/16” lower die). Metalpro offers an assortment of die sizes and styles, capable of forming 28 gauge to 1⁄2” mild steel (width limited to tonnage requirements). All Metalpro machines and accessories are proudly made in the USA and built to last.
Calculating bending tonnage: 150 x material thickness = Tonnage required for 12′′ length of mild steel
