• Convenient Operator Controls with Digital Thickness Setting
  • The operator controls are conveniently located above the infeed of the machine. Each motor is outfitted with an independent amp meter for load monitoring. The digital thickness control allows for fast, precise, and automatic setting of the feed conveyor height. The control can be programmed in INCH (0.001" resolution) or METRIC (0.01mm resolution). An hour meter keeps track of the machine's running time, making it ideal for setting maintenance intervals.
• Contact Drum and Combination Sanding Heads
  • 1st Head: Rubber Contact Drum: 10" diameter. 25 HP (18KW). Equipped with a dial for micro-adjustment according to various grit being used.
  • 2nd Head: Combination Head: 5 ½" diameter rubber drum & 2 5/8" wide platen, 20 HP (14KW). Platen can be easily raised or lowered depending on whether you are calibrating or finish sanding. Equipped with a dial for micro-adjustment to the sanding drum according to various grit being used
• Accurate Adjustment of Each Drum and Platen
  • Both the first and second contact drums can be micro-adjusted for belt grit compensation. In addition, the combination unit has an adjustable platen which can be raised or lowered depending on whether you are performing calibration or finish sanding. The quick-release outboard support allows for fast belt changes.
• High-Quality Rubber Conveyor Belt
  • The reinforced rubber conveyor belt provides optimum grip while remaining very consistent in thickness for optimum sanding precision.
• Four Table Elevation Jack Screws and Emergency Devices
  • The table is raised and lowered by four industrial ball screws ensuring perfect flatness and added durability. Equipped with an over-height lever gate that will automatically shut off the machine should a workpiece too thick be sent through for sanding, also equipped with a front safety bar, emergency stop buttons on front and rear of the machine, and safety switches on all door panels.
• Caliper Auto Thickness Setting Device
  • Simply put your material under the sensor switch and raise the table up. This will automatically set the table height according to your material thickness without pre-measure it and inputting it onto the machine.
• Electronic Belt Tracking
  • Electronic send & receive sensor precisely detects the sanding belt for the most reliable belt tracking. The machine is also equipped with belt overrun limit switches for added safety.
• Automatic Disc Brakes for Sanding Heads
  • It comes equipped with powerful 25HP & 20HP sanding motors and a pneumatic disc braking system that facilitates faster belt changes with added machine safety. In addition, the motors are equipped with Wye-Delta controls which reduce power consumption on startup.
• Variable Feed Speed Adjustment
  • The 3HP feed motor with variable feed speed allows the operator to choose the correct sanding speed for various sanding applications, belt grits, wood species, and desired results.
• Dual Infeed Bed Rollers and Pneumatic Conveyor Belt Tracking Cylinder
  • Outfitted with dual idle infeed rollers to provide additional support for the panel during sanding operations. The conveyor belt is tracked automatically to ensure it remains centered and so that it will not track off to one side, causing damage to the belt.
