1. Cooling Capacity: The cooling capacity is measured in BTUs (British Thermal Units) and determines how much heat the air conditioner can remove from a room. It is essential to choose a unit that can effectively cool the desired space.

2. Energy Efficiency: Look for equipment with high Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) or Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) ratings, which indicates how efficiently the equipment uses energy. High-efficiency equipment can help reduce energy bills.
