SCORING
The Minimax SC 3C comes standard with scoring. This allows you to not only
accurately cut panels, but you can cleanly cut them too. This is important
when cutting particle board, melamine, laminated panels, or anything else to
which you intend to apply some type of edgebanding. If you are cutting solid
wood, simply drop it below the table surface independently of the main blade.
A 12” main blade capacity is featured without having to remove the scoring
blade. The scoring is belt-driven from the main motor.

CAST IRON RIP FENCE KNUCKLE
The Minimax SC 3C has a thick, cast-iron knuckle, to which the extruded
aluminum rip fence is attached. It rides on a large (45mm) rectified steel round
bar, and is locked in placed with a cam design for maximum rigidity. It microadjusts
into place via a rack and pinion design.

LARGE BLADE CAPACITY
The Minimax SC 3C can accommodate a large, 12” blade without removing
the scoring blade. When not using the scoring, it can be dropped below the
table easily. Scoring adjustments are external, no tooling. The Minimax SC 3C
also has ¾” DADO capability.

FLIP STOPS
The Minimax SC 3C comes standard with two flip stops on the crosscut fence and two hand
wheels for operating unit movement. One on the front of the machine for the main blade, and
one on the side of the machine for your scoring blade.
